Conda Award winner, Gabrielle O'Connor has worked as a costume and set designer and maker in theatre for over thirty years. From starting as the wardrobe mistress for the Hunter Valley Theatre Company, career highlights include working in the Australian Opera props department, puppet maker for the Marionette Theatre Company of Australia and was one of fifteen notified artists commissioned by the Australian Government to make life-size sculptures for the Australian Bicentennial Touring Exhibition.

For the last ten years she has shared her time between the theatre, art directing for film and television and teaching at Hunter TAFE.

Gabrielle has enjoyed many challenges and has never had to make the same thing twice. If you want a one-off, if you want something unique, get in touch.
